NYT Ombudsman Rebukes Leftist NYT Reporter

Byron Calame must feel like Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah. How to find honest and unbiased reporters in a red-light district of ultra-left newsies each fighting for the next leak of classified documents or compromising e-mails?

However, he did finally find someone who is so pitifully clueless and challenged in many personal and mental ways who personifies the the earnest hyper-left highbrows of the Upper West Side: Linda Greenhouse.

This victim of mass psychosis tells Ombudsman Calame that her spew at an alumni speech concerning America's crimes and a "ridiculous fence" on the Mexican border:
Ms. Greenhouse told me she considers her remarks at Harvard to be "statements of fact" — not opinion — that would be allowed to appear in a Times news article. She said The Times has not suggested that she avoid writing stories on any of the topics on which she commented in June. "Any such limits would be completely preposterous," she said.

That's the preposterous NYT disease: they believe their far-left gibberish are "statements of fact" and limits on biased reporting "completely preposterous."

Greenhouse is completely preposterous and her biased reporting may garner her a Pulitzer, whatever that's worth, but her agitprop demonstrates that the NYT continues to spiral downward in its journalistic standards and news values.
