Henninger Duped by MSM He Can't Discern

Opinion Journal/a> has a thought-piece on the latest hysterical lynch mob pitchforking its way across cyberspace and the digital desert. The reason this story has legs has a lot to do with Denny Hastert, who has to be a very clueless figurehead put there by demonically clever Tom DeLay to mind the store while DeLay controlled the doling out of perks and earmarks.

Denny is your average Midwestern congressman from a semi-rural district, which can bring forth a Gerald Ford or a not-so-smart fellow like Denny. Why he didn't foresee a disaster like Foley lies in all the complicities and compromises conservatives make with the reality of the Velvet Underground that Henninger brings up in his mention of Andy Warhol.

Nowadays, challenging the legal system far outweighs the clarity needed to thread one's way through absurdly complicated factitious nonsense like Global Warming or Gay Marriage. Occam's Razor is needed along with a good dose of common sense, but Byzantine labyrinths are difficult to reconnoiter, let alone cross without injury.

Foley deceived his friends and committed on-line predation, as well as off-line invites to his apartment for underage drinking. The guy should be shut up in jail, because he purported to be a friend of innocent children [as Chairman of that Committee] while stalking them.

Studds was a depraved, degenerate predator also, but the Dems believe his privacy rights trump the rights of children to avoid predation. So his re-election by a CD packed with like-minded pervs six times fits into the Dem moral landscape. Studds acted out his sick perversions, and his Dem colleagues applauded him.

The Repubs still stand for some principles, and the chips have to fall where they may.

But Henninger manages to write the article without noticing how the scandal started, by an agent provocateur on the far-left, nor how its flames are being fanned by a fanatically left-leaning MSM whose agenda is to convert the 34% conservative/21% liberal split in the USA into its mirror-opposite.

Agendas exist, and the not-so-hidden leftist agenda is to destroy American national security and domestic tranquillity through the MSM/Academicide/Hollyweird phalanx---bringing down the edifice of a truly free country with its torrent of distortions, half-truths, and outright lies.
