Anti-Terror Tactics: Who Won?

The New York Times and the Washington Post are howling that GWB and his guys snookered the Senate.

Nancy Pelosi claimed yesterday on CNN or MSNBC--I forget which--that the Senate "mavericks" had won and Bush had lost.

Who's right?

I think America won, if Brian Ross's statements to Bill O'Reilly Tuesday night are true that as many as a dozen plots and conspiracies may have been prevented by waterboarding murderous terrorists.

The kind of people who worry about the treatment of the likes of KSM and company are the same people who dismissed Adolph Hitler as a harmless crank and Joseph Stalin as an avuncular social engineer.
