Azarenka was the quiet tornadoes name although her disconcerting warble after each stroke was disturbing. Azarenka was up 5-3 in the 3rd set when Serena's first set game suddenly reappeared. She beat Vike A. 7-5.
I was watching the Packers get humbled at Lambeau by the 49ers, so I was switching back & forth during commercials. Serena was gracious enough to invite Vika into the winner's photo & Vika was gracious in defeat. She is still the number one ranked in the world & Serena remains number four.
"Much have I seen and known; cities of men And manners, climates, councils, governments, ...the fortune of us that are the moon's men doth ebb and flow like the sea, being govern'd, as the sea is, by the moon" [Henry IV, I.ii.31-33] HISTORY NEVER REPEATS ITSELF, BUT IT OFTEN RHYMES "There is a Providence that protects idiots, drunkards, children and the United States of America." Otto von Bismarck
