The Washington Post has become another Joe Lieberman-type shibboleth for the ultra-left Angry Bloggers out to demonstrate their Bush Derangement Syndrome credentials.

Joe Lauria has an article that is sure to poke a stick in their chronic hornet's-nest reactivity. It concerns a reporter, drugged out, dishonest, and far-left named Jason Leopold who has used Truthout.org to sustain his fantasy that Karl Rove is still under Double-Secret Indictment despite Patrick Fitzgerald's public statements to the contrary.

Lauria's article demonstrates the mentality of desperation some far-left bloggers exploit to push their strange obsessions. Leaving aside that the whole Plame incident is a tempest in a teapot where no actual crime may have been committed, the left's urging the MSM to make this pseudo-event "news" pushes the envelope of credibility to new extremes.

Let's just call Joe Wilson an agent provocateur and leave it at that. Read the article to find out how the LAT and Salon keep hiring guys like Leopold despite numerous instances of journalistic fraud. No fault on the left.
