Made a short trip to Salon through a site pass to visit their political opinion section. Sort of the bar scene in Star Wars transposed to politics: the exhibit of political specimens included a hate-piece by Garrison Keillor on Catholicism, intemperate headlines employing the word "desperate" twice and "arrogant" once in the ten columns displayed.
Like one of those crime museums, traitors like Juan Cole and Sidney Blumenthal had their exhibits exhaling their hatred of America and anything socially responsible. Cole put in a good word for Islamic terrorists, which just may get him that chair at Yale. The Ivy League is where the major offenders are incarcerated!
Oh well, guess that pay-for-view site will continue to gull self-hating liberals to a multiplex toxic-waste dump for the mind.
"Much have I seen and known; cities of men And manners, climates, councils, governments, ...the fortune of us that are the moon's men doth ebb and flow like the sea, being govern'd, as the sea is, by the moon" [Henry IV, I.ii.31-33] HISTORY NEVER REPEATS ITSELF, BUT IT OFTEN RHYMES "There is a Providence that protects idiots, drunkards, children and the United States of America." Otto von Bismarck
