Castro's Cuban Cocaine Crime Ring

ABC News has an anti-Castro article, in a slight deviation from the fawning twit-talk the MSM customarily lavishes on the Cuban mass-murderer:
Federal prosecutors in Miami were prepared to indict Raul Castro as the head of a major cocaine smuggling conspiracy in 1993, but the Clinton Administration Justice Department overruled them, current and former Justice Department officials tell ABC News.

The officials say Castro, as Cuban Defense Minister, permitted Colombian drug lords to pay for the use of Cuban waters and airstrips as staging grounds for smuggling runs into the United States in the 1980s and early 1990s.

"It was a major investigation involving numerous witnesses that was killed at the highest levels in Washington," said a former Justice Department official with direct knowledge of the case.

"There were numerous national security and intelligence issues that would have made the case difficult," said Tom Cash, the former head of the Drug Enforcement Administration office in Miami.

Let's see. Putting on our twin-bill Sherlock Holmes' cap and taking a little of Sherlock's favorite stimulus up our nose [oops, that's what this story is all about], we can guess "highest levels" in DC means Janet Reno and Bill Clinton.

The happy ending to this entire tawdry crime-loving Clinton administration came in the year 2000 when Cuban-American Floridians, who voted 35% for Clinton in 1996, voted 20% for Al Gore in 2000, and we all know how close that key state's election was!

Okay, so word did not get out in 1993 to indicate how tight Clinton was with the Cuban criminal-in-chief and his bro, but after Elian Gonzalez, every Cuban-American in Florida knew that the Democrats were the friends of crime and the enemies of Cubans living in the USA.

Ha, Ha, Ha. The Republicans have the last laugh!
