Fastest baseball pitcher of all? Where's the Big Train?

This article says Nolan Ryan threw a fastball 108.01 mph way back in the day. But sadly, Lefty Grove and Walter Johnson were before the time of the accurate speed machine calculators. And anecdotally, some 19th century throwers were unbelievably fast as well.
